NoNo: hole-in-the-wall cafe with great coffee (frequently rotating beans: Monmouth, Redemption Roasters, Elsewhere and more), pastries, breads and spreads from local bakers and makers. Plus ice cream sandwiches from a Michelin starred former chef. Serve Well café: top quality greasy spoon (providing you just order the basics - stay simple and you’ll be fine! Don’t be seduced by the the thought of hollandaise sauce...)

Top quality local pub. It’s a “quiet pub” so no music, which is great for catching up with friends but doesn’t leave the pub vibe-less. Friendly atmosphere, great for families and kid-free alike. Currently servings takeaways to outside drink in the park or along the Thames.

Historic pub “where The Mayflower set sail from”, you’ll usually find a fair few American tourists in the pub for this reason. Otherwise great food and drinks, plus the pub building itself is mostly all original and very quirky. Balcony jutting out over the Thames for great water views. It does get absolutely rammed to standing room only on the weekends.
