Hire a boat here by the hour or perhaps try Kayaking? Friendly staff, a great way to see the city by river boat.

Great park for the kids Great vintage cafe and the lighthouse is nice Beach is like the ‘going on a bear hunt’ beach, soft sand, rocks, crevasses. But windy so take layers...and a kite!!! 😊

Neighbourhoods

Ok secret beach!!! 😎🤓🥰💓 Go to a place called Sea Palling - usual route and head to sea front as per all the normal visitors...THEN take a LEFT at the bottom of the road as you see the car park... keep going down that lane (it looks like it's going to come to an end..but yet..it doesn't 🤔🤓🤭🥰) keep going it winds down past little beach hobbit huts n a few houses, as you get further down you'll see a field (LHS) which says parking all day £3 (bargain) go slowly as it's hard to spot but I'd say about a mile from the main strip BUT just before the make shift car park on the left there is a long lay-by to the right hand side, we have managed to park there every time ...just leave soon if you can? You will also see the Taco place, there's a shepherds hut food van with a giant wooden spoon, fork, knife ahead on the RHS. Once parked the beach path is directly to your right, follow the sandy path through the dune - taco place is now on your left as you head towards the sea. Phone reception is hit n miss so write this down. And viola! Perfect sandy quiet cove, shallow bay and sea. All the amenities are in sea palling for food etc but a total trek! so take a picnic, drinks etc - the taco place has toilets but it's an unusual time at the moment so can't guarantee this will be open - toilets are open back at the main strip though I believe, just something to be prepared for with kids. We usually go left on the beach as it's fun sliding/running down the dunes!!! Enjoy my darlings xxxx

The best bar in Norwich. Great music. Nice mix of ages. Guests DJs but not too ‘serious’ open until silly o’clock (3am) but more chilled in the day/early evening... you won’t want to leave
