The Jian Guo flower market is opened during the weekend under a highway. It is charming, noisy, full of good bargains, and best of all, beautiful orchids and plants galore.

街區

Yong Kang Street is our favorite neighbor hood in Taipei. Not just because it houses the original Ding Tai Feng, you will also find Mango Ice shops, bubble tea places, coffee shops, Japanese restaurants, cool little shops that you get lost in. It is a great place to explore and take a stroll around.

A historic neighborhood that's been gentrified. You'll find lots of cool, hip coffee places mixed with old, traditional buildings and shops.

Sightseeing

Go see the best thing nature has to offer in Taipei. If you have the time, I would highly recommend to spend a full day or even half day to visit Yang Ming Shan National Park. 1 hour outside of Taipei, and you're transported to this majestic mountain view. It is scenic, and breath taking. Lots of hot spring hotels and spas in the area if you enjoy a nice onsen in the cold winter days

Take the MRT, bus or taxi to Elephant Mountain station and get ready for a nice walk up the hill. A good 30 minute will get you a gorgeous view of Taipei city with the iconic Taipei 101. So close to the Xinyi district and popular with tourists and locals. Highly recommend it if you have a short trip to Taipei.
