Some people can get pretty dehydrated and affected by the altitude. Drinking more water than you're used to is essential. And it is true, you definitely feel alcohol a lot faster until you are used to it!

You will likely want to head up to the mountains and check out the beauty. Bring along some sturdy and comfortable sneakers or boots you don't mind getting a little dusty as there are a lot of quick hikes that are so worth it! And if you're looking for a more substantial hike, you probably already know this ;)
