Coffee

Nice little coffee shop near the Warwick Avenue station. Perfect for on-the-go caffeination. Their toasted baguette sandwiches are great too.

Food scene

Aussie cafe owned by Bill Granger. One of our go-tos for brunch on the weekend. There's often a queue but it moves quite quickly - the food and great service is well worth the wait. For a perfect outing hire a Santander bike and ride to and from the cafe (a leisurely 15 mins), add in some Westbourne Grove boutique shopping or a visit to Notting Hill.

Another brunch favourite, this Aussie cafe has too many delicious options to choose from. Great coffee of course and a pretty, bright interior.

Iconic Notting Hill is well worth a look-in. You can walk, cycle or get public transport from our place and spend a few hours wandering the Portobello Rd markets, the boutiques and exploring the pastel painted neighborhood.

Trendy and very London, Marylebone is one of my favourite areas. Fantastic shops, quirky pop-ups and boutique fitness studios. My go to is a wander down the high-street.

Sightseeing

Hyde Park is one of my favourite places in the world. A gorgeous slice of nature right in the centre of London. Beautiful in any season and different every visit. Great for dog-spotting, wandering by the lakes or getting lost in the flowers. It's wonderful.

Traveler advice

Getting around

The tube is your best friend!

The tube is the easiest way to get around the city. You can tap on and off with any contactless bank card and you can get nearly anywhere in well under an hour. Buses and Uber are fine but the underground trains are fast, reliable and run every minute or so. Unbeatable.
Getting around

Santander Cycles

You'll see these red bicycles docked all over the city. They're every couple hundred metres and are a brilliant way to get around. Cheap to use (download the app if you're using them even a couple of times) and a great, and fast, way to get where you're going.
