Killarney (“Killarney Park”) is a reasonably affluent part of East Vancouver, right on the boundary with Burnaby and not far from the gigantic Metrotown Mall. It has good transportation access (Skytrain), good schools, and is not far from Burnaby’s Central Park. Also in this area, Champlain Heights offer retail services and amenities in walking distance. For those seeking a reprieve from city activity, Everett Crowley Park's 40 hectares offer walking trails and an off-leash area for dogs. Killarney is in the southeastern corner of the city, bordering Burnaby and the Fraser River. Starbucks, library, huge grocery store A&W, other ethnical restaurants are just in a walking distance from the suite.
