Sightseeing

The newest National Park in the US!! White Sands is a great place to visit. If you can, time your trip to catch sunrise or sunset. Bring a picnic and lay out a blanket to enjoy the vast expanse of sand dunes. I offer free sleds to use for all of my guests! The best dunes to sled on are the steepest incline towards the back of Dune Drive.

A must stop for any first time visitors to the Las Cruces area! A piece of history (think Billy the Kid) and fun atmosphere to enjoy some local New Mexican food. It's different from Mexican food. Try a sopapilla (local fried bread) with honey for dessert!

Grab a breakfast burrito on the go before you head out to White Sands or for a day hike. They have an extensive menu with other options and I've been impressed, especially for a place inside a gas station. Hidden gem for sure!

If you're looking for a local brewery, Icebox is the newest in town and closest to my side of town. Try a flight to see which you like. They even have a seltzer if craft beer isn't your thing.
