Expensive place, but if you're a gourmet you'll definitely want to try it. Amazing museum! With real life size cars, boats, trains and planes! Most descriptions are still in German though, so if you don't speak (nor read) the language, it's just for the pleasure of the eyes. Definitely worth the visit if your into technical things.

Book a (free) visit of the dome and get an audioguide explain you the history of the city and all the building around. Go there instead of on top of the TV tower. It's free, the view is as amazing and the explanations are way better. They also do evenings visits.

There are very diverse, from vine-draped terraces, the Orangerie, the botanical gardens... They are so diverse and beautiful. Plus there are many other buildings that are disseminated around the gardens: the chinese house, the new palace and many others. Definitely a must see!

Sanssoucis is the most famous palace around Potsdam (there are many of them). I never visited the palace itself, but I heard it's disappointing. But you have to see the gardens around. There are very diverse, from vine-draped terraces, the Orangerie, the botanical gardens... They are so diverse and beautiful. Plus there are many other buildings that are disseminated around the gardens: the chinese house, the new palace and many others. Definitely a must see!
