Amazing Zoo! Regularly rated in the top 5 zoo's in the country. It is fun for both kids and adults alike. Just be sure the weather is nice before you head there!

If you enjoy running or biking outside, I HIGHLY recommend coming to the trails. It offers more than 70 miles of trails along the river. If you don't have a bike, no problem! Fort Worth has a pretty extensive bike share system with stations dotted along the trails. Spring is the best time to go because the hillsides are covered with wildflowers!

I do not consider myself a honky tonk kind of Texan, but this place is really fun! First, it is huge inside! The claim is that it is the World's Biggest Honky Tonk. So if you are not interested in two-stepping, have no fear! There is bull riding (like real cowboys on real bulls, not that mechanical stuff...which they might have as well), games, and an extensive bar area. If you do want to two-step, I think they offer classes on certain nights before the dance floor gets back.

Cool local coffee spot! Tons of places to sit and post up if you need to get some work done. Do keep in mind it is pretty popular, so the tables can fill up. If you get there in the AM, there are usually spots to pick from. Super close to the house and surrounded by lots of restaurants.

Another great coffee shop to post up if you need to get some work done. It has a TON of seating, so you won't feel bad if you stay for a while. Closer to downtown and the convention center if you are over that way.

BEST MARGARITAS IN TOWN! They pack a punch. The food is good too! I believe it is the same owners as the popular Joe T Garcia's in the stockyards, so no need to wait in line!
