Renowned restaurant with local cuisine. For breakfast, arrive early to avoid queues. The original restaurant, and the one I highly recommend, is situated in the corner of streets 62 and 57., downtown Merida. The building itself is a public parking.

Traveler advice

Getting around

Roundabouts

When approaching a roundabout, the car in it has priority. Stop and continue driving when no car is coming.
Getting around

Crossroads

In crossroads, a street has always a stop sign. Stop, watch and if no cars, continue driving. If your street has no stop sign, go ahead.
What to pack

Skin protection

Bring repellent, sunscreen and hats. Use them all the time.
Traveling with kids

Toys, goggles, gloves...

Our garden is home of three playful dogs. We highly recommend you not to leave/forget anything around the pool or in the garden. The dogs will certainly play with them, meaning, destroy them.
Getting around

Parking

Parking on the street is limited in downtown Merida. There are many parking lots (Estacionamiento Público), charging by the hour.
