Public transport around town
Buy an Oyster Card (£5 deposit) and travel much cheaper by bus or tube all around town. You can add money or “top up” anytime at tube station using contactless credit card or cash.

New exhibitions or the last couple of days get extremely busy, so better to plan your visit and reserve your ticket and slot in advance

Umbrella and sunglasses !
This is London ... in winter pack your umbrella and waterproof shoes but for the summer bring some cool “shades” (or sunglasses :) before heading to Hyde Park just around the corner for a nap in a rented lounger or pédalo on the Serpentine lake !

And you can hop on a bus easily with a buggy or city scooter (trottinette)

Main bus lines have a night service but check your journey on Apps like CityMapper as buses change their routes slightly at night... and a few main tube lines operate all night on week ends - again check your journey on www.tfl.co.uk

Portobello Market
Best to visit on Fridays with less crowd and more flea market and antique stalls open. Saturday is still fun but more of a farmers market than flea market
