Getting around
Parking downtown
We have on the street parking meters they are 1.00 an hour.
if you press the red button it gives you a free 15 min before you put your money in. They also take cards.After 5 the leased lots are all free.
What to pack
Dress in layers is the best
Rapid City is a beautiful place it can be 70* in the day and drop to 40's at night. when in the hills I recommend dressing in layers.

1880 Train in Keystone
This is a nice little ride in the hills. It goes from Keystone to Hill City. You can buy tickets at the station but might be best to order online.
