The park has a windmill and a watermill which is the main attraction of the park. There is also the Royal Gunpowder mill, a shed made out of bullet castle, a smith house and a workshop for a coachbuilder where the craftsmen are seen at work.

A 10 minute drive from my place. Take a stroll along the wheelchair/pram accessible boardwalk to Tamar Island, traversing a wetland reserve. Beautiful short flat walk- 1.5 hour return 4km return. Wetlands centre, water bird viewing and toilets located close to car park. For company you’ll have pelicans, swans, cormorants and numerous other bird species as well as frogs, dragonflies and lizards. The wetlands centre has displays and information. Picnic area, gas barbecue and toilets on the island also.
