Food scene

Seasonal fare that's both healthy and filling, The Farm is great for an early dinner with the family, a quick healthy lunch break, or a nice dinner for two. We always go once during our stay at The Canyons. If you dine inside at the bar it's a more chill experience, away from the excitement & business of aprés noise.

Lovely small coffeeshop that's situated above a menswear shop and barber. Perfect for a pick-me up and moment to breathe whilst Christmas shopping. I like coming alone for a respite from the crowds. Serves good coffee and local juices.

We love High West Whiskey! Check out a distillery tour, and have dinner at their lovely restaurant.

Aprés-ski activities

This large movie theatre is pretty standard - but it has great chairs and is playing new releases. We often will see one movie while in town, and it's usually here. It's also in a bigger shopping area if you need to run other errands nearby.

Great bars and restaurants - both indoor and out - to relax after a day on the slopes or between morning and afternoon sessions.

Traveler advice

Getting around

Use the complimentary Resort Shuttle

The resort has a shuttle that will take you into the historic downtown.
Ways to save

Bring groceries

The kitchens in the suites have everything you need to cook, so skip on eating out for every meal and go grocery shopping in town. There are good grocery stores - including a Whole Food's. You can ask the resort to hook you up with a shuttle into town for groceries, or use Uber or Lyft.
Book before you go

Lift Tickets

You can save on lift tickets by purchasing your pass before your trip. This also allows you to skip the hassle of going to the ticket counter at the lifts and just get straight on! Go to www.parkcitymountain.com for more information - and, if you need help navigating your purchase, please let me know.
What to pack

Bring your skiing/snowboard gear AND swimsuits

The resort has fantastic outdoor hot tubs. We spend evenings and late nights here relaxing after time on the slopes with wine and good company!
Traveling with kids

Kid-friendly resort

With toddler sledding, playgrounds, and kid's ski classes, the resort is very kid-friendly. We can't wait to bring our nephew here as he gets older!
Book before you go

Book a shuttle from SLC Airport to the resort

Park City is about a 40 minute drive from the airport. If you're not planning on renting a car, book a shuttle with a service to the resort. The concierge at The Canyons is phenomenal and will handle a lot for its guests, so you can book through them.
