MCC is best known locally for its thrift store, cafe called Common Ground, their homemade quilts and for Ten Thousand Villages. In this store you will find beautiful and unique items sourced from many villages worldwide and bought at a fair market value that honours the artists.

The Abby Grind Trail is a different 3.4 kilometer moderately trafficked out and back trail - you'll have to google the location the starting point of this hike as it is not in Heritage Park.

This trail has lots of starting places in the city... but just near our house at River's Edge is a beautiful part of the trail that takes you to the Mission Bridge.
