Magical beach. If you have never been to Laguna its beautiful. The drive is on the pacific coast highway which is easy. Weekends I would not recommend because of the crowds on the highway. Would be a nice early morning drive to go to the beach spend the day at the cove. Then go for happy hour around 3 or 4. Many artists live there so there are lots of art galleries and they have the sawdust festival every year which is all different artists on display at the beach.

If you want waves and want to get out of Long Beach Harbor. This is my go to beach that is really close 10 or 15 minute drive. It is windy beach but on a nice day its close and you can go in the ocean and catch waves on your boogie board.

If you have 6 to 8 people this is a blast. Just make sure one of you stays sober to drive it. You can pack food bring your music and have a really fun day or early evening. I have had a lot of really fun trips on the duffy.

this is fun relaxing, exciting. I say exciting because for being a small bay that you can kayak through, I always seem to get lost but then find my way back. You can see all the pretty homes and boats that are fun to look at. You can take a beer with you and kick back and put your oars down and just float.

Across the street on Anaheim Street directly across from Mc donalds. Great bar with strong margaritas. Just get the regular. The food is good also. I prefer to only sit in the bar. Its dark and they always have a football, soccer or basketball game on. The restaurant part is very loud and busy.
