A local secret is to park on a side street on Anastasia Island before you go over the bridge and then walk over the Bridge of Lions to downtown. You will avoid traffic and get to take in the views of the Matanzas River up close.

Daily tours every few hours give you the colorful history of this present day private college. Go check out the students' dining hall that has some of the very first original Tiffany glass windows and transforms into Hogwarts during Harry Potter week in November.

Paul Baliker is an amazing artist. This is serious ART! It's a little bit further south of St. Augustine on A1A in Palm Coast, but if you want take short ride down to the Hammocks, you'll find his studio on the right and you won't be disappointed.
