Museum

Beautiful trails all around the campus with outdoor art for you to explore. Be sure to check out the Bachman-Wilson House that was built and designed by Frank Loyd Wright in 1954. It used to be in New Jersey and was falling into disrepair. It was systematically disassembled, shipped to Bentonville and reassembled along with all the furnishings that FLW designed as well.

This is the epicenter of the Bentonville MTB scene. This is where it all started back in 2006. If any celeb's come into town, you will most likely bump into them here. Look for the Bush Push trail. It's named after a president that started at the bottom and climbed this challenging trail all the way to the top. See if you can do it. He did it while in office then went to Whole Hog BBQ before a press conference with BBQ sauce on his tie. They proudly display the picture of that behind their registers.

About an hour drive from our place. Built in 2018 and features one of the most expensive MTB trails ever created in NWA. There is a spectacular view off the west side of the mountain of Springdale and Rogers. Check out the caves with skilled carved graffiti from the early 1900s.

This is a paved 36-mile trail that spans two counties that starts here in Bella Vista at Blowing Springs park and ends in Fayetteville. I ride this when I commute on my bike to work in Bentonville. There are many restaurants and shops along this route as well as Slaughter Pen MTB trails and Crystal Bridges Museum of Art (see elsewhere in this guide)

Probably the best views of any trail system here in the area. You get to ride along the coast of Beaver Lake. There's great trail flow and plenty of nature to view if you want. This trail system drains incredibly fast. So, if it's been dumping rain, you can almost always ride this trail network immediately afterwards.

Food scene

A great place with a great menu. Live music and sports. If an NFL game is playing, you can flip a coin for your burger. If you win, it’s free. Ask about their happy minutes.

So good. Closest place to eat once you have climbed the All American trail. Nice food truck area. Long line of people waiting to order? Plan on 5 minutes per person in front of you before you receive your crepe. 5 people in front of you = 25 minute wait once you've ordered. Need it faster, they have a restaurant location in middle Bentonville.

Like seafood? They have live and fresh seafood flown in all the time. You can pick your live seafood or already packaged or eat in the restaurant. However, I insist: DO NOT BRING HOME SEAFOOD AND NUKE IT IN THE MICROWAVE. (thank you) ;)

Bike Shops

These are the bike shops I have bought bikes and had service from personally. All of them I would recommend. If you want to support the expertly trained, passionate underdog, go to Mojo's and tell Dave that Eric Liberatore sent you. He and his dog live on the Back 40.
The owner, Dave, is almost always there with his dog, Zim. This guy has been a hardcore mountain biker for decades and actually lives one street over from our place. Offers bike rentals. Full suspension mountain bikes: Same Day $60, 24 hour $75. Hardtail mountain bikes: Same Day $40, 24 hour $55 Shockwiz: Same Day $50, Weekend $65 MON-FRI: 11am - 6:30pm Saturday: 11am - 5pm Sunday: Closed www.mojocycling.com Orbea, Jamis

Our largest bike shop in the area with many locations throughout NWA. They offer rentals on E-bikes of all formats as well as hardtails and full suspension carbon or aluminium bikes. Primarily a Trek and Bontrager house but they do offer Some Salsa and Yeti bikes for sale. Lots of accessory and clothing options here.

This is the Springdale location which is about 40 minutes away. They have a Rogers location which is about 20 minutes away but for some reason I am unable to add that location to my AirBnB guide book. The Springdale location has a better assortment of clothing and accessories. Both have great bike shops.
