Get to know more about how Danish soldiers back in 1864 fought and got badly beaten by the German army and how this battlefield changed the danish history. My own grand-granddad fought here and survived by fleeing and hiding. It was a terrible experience and he apparently suffered the rest of his life from what we today would call pstd.
