This is the town you’ll be staying in, 5 minutes walk from my home to the centre. A friendly little town, with lots of history and genuine Tudor style properties along quirky little streets, yet modern when it comes to Bistro / Tapas / Italian dining, and Tradition dining. We have a Pond, home to lots of wildlife, Cowdray Castle ruins, and several pubs ! all the usual amenities, bus station, Taxi’s supermarket, fish and chip shop and Indian Restaurant ! Yet still retains its Tudor history and charm. People are friendly and most can give you directions to sightseeing areas, or point you in the right direction should you get lost ! A safe town, so walking alone you’d be safe. It’s a busy little town in the summer, especially in the Polo Season, which is held at Cowdray Park, Midhurst. In the Winter it’s much quieter, but cosy. The walk back to my home is well lit, safe and flat and just a few minutes away.
