Built for the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games, Utah Olympic Park is located in Park City, just 10 minutes away from the Westgate (hint: use the free shuttle!). The nearly 400 acre venue houses one of only four sliding tracks in North America, six Nordic ski jumps, a 2002 Winter Games museum, and a multitude of adventure activities. Utah Olympic Park is a dynamic multi-use facility focused on developing and growing participation in winter sports in the state of Utah and is an official USOC Training Site.

Getting around
The free Westgate shuttle is a great way to visit the area.
Even if you have a car I recommend using the free Westgate shuttle for transportation to Park City and other nearby locations. Download the "RideWG" app from Google Play or the Apple Store and use the access code "wgpc2019" for activation. In addition to reserving a shuttle ride you can see many other places (e.g. restaurants) that others have visited.
Traveling with kids
Westgate Kids Club: hours: 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily
At Westgate Park City Resort & Spa, we understand that while Mom & Dad might want downtime, sometimes children need something to occupy active minds. Our Kid's Club caters to kids age 3-12 ((must be potty trained). The approach is creative and the indoor environment provides a safe and secure place for children to have a great time. The Kid's Club offers arts and crafts, video games, board games and other organized fun, all led by a friendly team members dedicated to the supervision of children.
What to pack
What do to do with skis, snowboards, mountain bikes, etc.
At the Westgate there are a few free amenities that can make your outdoor sports experience even better. At check-in the valet will tag your skis/snowboards/mountain bike with your name and store them for you (they are not allowed in your room). When you're ready to hit the slopes or bike call the valet ahead of time (recommend 45 - 60 min), tell them whose equipment is needed, and where you plan to spend your day. If you're skiing Canyons resort you will be met outside at the base gondola with your equipment. If you are taking the shuttle to Park City or Deer Valley - first reserve your ride - and then the valet will load your equipment onto the shuttle for you (meet the shuttle at the lobby entrance). If you have your own car ask the valet to have your equipment for you at the bell stand. Mountain bikes are only brought to the lobby. Also, if you are skiing at The Canyons and don't want to wear your boots all the way to the lift use one of the free day lockers at Ski Services. Carry your boots and any other cumbersome gear with you to Ski Services, change there and use the day locker to store comfortable shoes, etc. for your return to your room (lockers are not available for overnight use).
