OUTDOORS

Montreal has plenty of green spaces within the city to enjoy. There are several hiking, cycling, and running trails within a 5-10 minute walk of my listing. You can also enjoy the parks with a bottle of your favorite wine, beer, or cider, and a picnic lunch. Drinking in public spaces is allowed :)
In the summer, there are tennis and beach volleyball courts. In the winter you can use the skating rink or a toboggan down the hills. Jeanne-Mance park also has the free festival known as "Tam-Tams" on Sunday afternoon throughout the summer. Drum players, vendors, dancers, and visitors come together to enjoy music and the outdoors.

It's a park made up of two islands and offers a multitude of attractions. It can be easily accessed by subway and is only a 20 minute commute from my apartment. You can also enjoy great views of the Jacques Cartier Bridge and Old Montreal.
