Small nearby village with the river ceou running through. Beautiful place for a picnic. We like to walk alongside the river to access little rock pools to swim in, small waterfalls and a rope swing. Parking at the bridge with a snack bar close by.

Small village with two beautiful picnic areas where you can also bathe in the river ceou. One of the picnic areas also has a childrens' play area, a small waterfall and a stone BBQ.

Small village with a beautiful lake with sandy beach, pedalos and fishing areas. Life guard on duty in high season. There is a footpath all the way around with exercise stations. Takes 15-25 minutes to walk around the lake. There is also a nature trail board walk over some marshes. Also in the village there is an old railway track which has been made into a cycle track which is very flat and allows you to cycle all the way to Sarlat, and also Aillac/Roufillac/Souillac. We have bicycles to hire.

Beautiful town built into the cliffs overlooking the national park. Religious monuments throughout the village. Great tourist shops, restaurants, cafes etc. Lots of tourist attractions including a monkey sanctuary, insect land, eagle park, and the magnificent stalactite caves 'La Gouffre de Padirac' not so far away, where you take a boat ride inside the cave.
