Best panzerotti in Milan (in my opinion) far better than Luini and other places better known in the city. Their crusts are not greasy, freshly made and absolutely yummy. Small location that closes after lunch but reopens for aperitivi!

Another perfect breakfast suggestion in the area, this stop has delicious breakfast pastries and is a branch of the historic Vergani located at Corso di Porta Romana. I personally like coming here for breakfast although they are open throughout the day with other treats, like very good ice cream (weather permitting)

Although tickets to see the Last Supper will most likely be sold out months in advance. If you are an early bird, go directly to the ticket office at Santa Maria delle Grazie: tourist tours usually buy tickets in bulk months in advance, and unused tickets for that day may free up. You will have to adapt your schedule to the availability slots, but it's worth a try.

If you walk from my home, head towards Corso Buenos Aires and walk the entire length (filled with stores set in historic buildings) until you get to Porta Venezia, you will reach Corso Venezia. Admire the amazing palaces of long-ago Milan. If you continue, you will reach Piazza San Babila which is where Corso Vittorio Emanuele II begins (leading to the Duomo).
