Local secret. This is a local craftsman cottage made into a restaurant. Eclectic menu, with amazing side dishes which should be called entrees. Always a line, but easy wait on patio bar.

Traveler advice

Getting around

Public Transportation

Public transportation here in Long Beach is 2nd only to San Francisco in Ca, comparable to New York and Chicago. Big difference is we have water taxis, which are faster and cheaper if you are going downtown or to Alamitos Marina.
Getting around

Our public transportation system is excellent.

If going to the beach, just walk or bike (bikes provided) and avoid the parking. If going downtown or to Los Angeles downtown, Uber to lb transit center. Bus 111, 112, 151 also work for getting to the train station
