My ALL time fav place for brunch or lunch. A bit hidden and a small setting, no outdoor sign so can be hard to find. Chef Frederic will usually take his time out to talk to all his guests.

One metro stop from my place. Many music festivals during the summer, the famous Osheaga, Heavy Montreal, the Piknic Electronik. The Formula 1 is also held there so when there is the track that can be used for cycling or rollerblading. A (usually) crowded beach is on the islands, the Casino, the Biosphere and just walking you can regularly spot groundhogs in the lawns. Foxes and skunks can be seen rarely.

Good places to eat Asian foods from Chinese to Vietnamese. There are also great places to purchase groceries at a reasonable price.

Montreal's mountain, not impressively high but still a place to appreciate the view of the city and south-shore. During summer months there are Tam-Tams every Sunday where many many many tam-tam drum players go to do a big jam. Interesting to join-in or just watch and listen.

Montreal's place to be when festival season is here. My favourite is the Jazz Festival, but there is also Just for Laughs and Francofolies to name a few.
