Located in the fabulous Galleria Subalpina, overlooking Piazza Castello, was founded in 1858 by Ferdinando Baratti e Edoardo Milano as a confectionery, then it became famous also for chocolate, candies and pastries. The place became a meeting point of politicians, artists and intellectuals as D'Azeglio, Giolitti e Einaudi and was awarded the title of Official company of the Real Casa. The restaurant, as it currently appears, is the result of the first reconstruction following the enlargement of 1909, designed by Giulio Casanova and Pietro Fenoglio. The result is a very elegant space characterized by a wide use of mirrors, marbles, bronzes, gilding and stuccos.

founded in Piazza Castello in 1907. Angela e Onorino Nebiolo, new owener from 1925, coming from United States, imported a machine that used to toast the bread, an innovation in Turin. Thereafter, they invented a new way to use the toast bread, without tosting it. It was thus that the invented the "Tramezzino" for Aperitivo.
