Parks & Nature

Trip Advisor rates this as 5 stars. It is a gorgeous lake & a nice short hike. It is considered medium as far as difficulty & takes a couple of hours round-trip. For those that are more adventurous (also rated moderate), you can continue on past Lindeman, to Greendrop Lake.

It is an (approximately) 5 1/2 hour return hike, with stunning views of the surrounding mountains as well as of Chilliwack. You must be prepared for snow (even in the summer) & should also have bear spray and/or bear bells. We have black & brown bears around here, & they do not want to be around you. If they hear you coming they can get away. They are not as dangerous as grizzly bears, however, it is not good to surprise them!
