Entertainment & Activities
Bergen Aquarium is a "must see" if you are traveling with children. The aquarium has various reptiles like crocodile, snakes, spiders, lizards etc. Bergen Aquarium is also known for its cute penguins. Nice place to visit but a bit expensive!
If you take the bus to Bergen, get off at the pier and take the boat "Beffen" across the fjord to the aquarium, a small attraction in itself.

Sætre farm is a small cozy mountain farm which offers horseback riding for visitors on Sundays. On the farm you will also find other animals such as pigs, chickens, peacocks, rabbits, goats and sheep.
If you want to combine your visit with a walk, you can park at Mellingen and go "Den Trondhjemske Postvei" over the mountain. This is an old post road between Bergen and Trondheim used for many hundreds of years ago.
