Food Scene

Unprepossessing place in the lovely village of Frigiliana but boy is the food good! Generous portions, excellent service, good ambience. There is a lovely terrace to sit out on in the warmer months.

To our minds possibly the best restaurant in town serving modern European cuisine. We go here every year when we visit. It helps that it is right next door to the apartment! A three-course meal with a bottle of wine is about €50 per person but I guarantee it’s worth every penny. Enjoy!

This small beach has much to recommend it. It's one of the cleanest in town, has a small kiosk selling ice creams and soft drinks, changing facilities and showers...turn right out of apt..2mins away

Nerja's most famous beach...to reach it, take the steps down to Carabeillo beach and then scramble around the rocks to your left otherwise you have a long, hot, sweaty walk over the headland to do!

Sightseeing

The historic home of bullfighting but don’t let that put you off. The bull ring is well worth a visit and the city itself is perched on a cliff that makes for spectacular views and deep valley gorges.

The historic centre of this coastal city is a must-see during your stay. You have three great museums: The Picasso Museum (The great artist was born in the city), the Carmen Thyssen museum and the Pompidou museum on the seafront, an offshoot of the parent museum in Paris. If you’re coming with kids or like vintage cars, I would highly recommend Malaga’s Automobile and Fashion Museum, which gives you a glimpse of what people might have been wearing when they took a drive in their Bugatti. It’s a lot of fun.
