A San Francisco classic. Big Italian big food restaurant. Old San Francisco feel, with the plush red leather booths. Specials rotate by day of the week. The Cobb salad is fantastic.

One of the best breakfast/brunch places in SF. But you have to really want to go- there is a 1.5 hour line out front almost constantly from 8am to 2pm.

Incredible Asian-Fusion place (6 blocks). Usually need a reservation 5-7 days out. Food is all amazing. Get the Hanger steak over garlic noodles and the salmon rolls with spicy mustard sauce.

1 block away. This old timey city square is filled on weekends with dogs, people doing yoga, art exhibits, Chinese ladies dancing... it's a wonderful community.
