It's an unusual atmosphere place in the heart of Dublin city center. Great vintage style. Great for brunch and also to have fancy cocktails. There is also a nice terrance. It's pricey but totally worthy.

Probably the cheapest pub in Temple bar, old style local usually has a good blue's band upstairs on a Saturday foc. Basic with a mixed crowd, less touristy than other bars in the area.

Elephant & Castle gets the title of King of Chicken Wings in all Dublin. Not only the flavor is amazing, but also the quantity of wings you get for that price is perfect. If you're not so hungry, half portions are possible. Word of advice: ask for fries when you order the wings, you won't regret it!

The Winding Stair may be one of the best restaurants in Dublin. This is not traditional, average tasting, Irish pub fare. This is a well thought out menu with excellent presentation and taste. Service was excellent. We are Americans from Los Angeles. This restaurant rivals some of the best new and innovative restaurants in the Venice, Santa Monica, West LA area. It takes Irish ingredients, traditional recipes and makes something exquisite. Best meal we had in Dublin. Great desserts too.

Sightseeing

Dublin visitor centre did not fail to live up to my expectations as I have visited Ireland many times before live here and no matter which part of the republic I am in, the visitor centres are consistently excellent - the staff are always pleasant and nothing is too much trouble.

A must in Dublin if you really like guiness. Best so called 'museum' I have been to in my life!! 7 floors of the black stuff and a free pint of it at the end. Unlike other museums pretty much everything including the tasting experience is free. Never knew so much went into making a pint. Well worth it.
