A great little cafe that's close to Cheriton and does good coffee. Prices are reasonable and there's a providore, bakery, pharmacy, post office, and beauty salon all in the same shopping strip.

Sister restaurant to Stillwater, The Black Cow is the best place in Launceston to sample Tasmania's terrific steaks. Its rib eye cannot be beaten and don't forget to order the Bearnaise sauce. Unbelievable when washed down with a local pinot noir.
