Absolutely spectacular setting on a cliff in the Mediterranean Sea. Truly epic, even just for an afternoon espresso, sunset apero or fine dining experience.

Hard to miss, as you’ll always see a line of people waiting to pick up their tasty pizza from this famous hole-in-the-wall place, serving excellent wood fired pizza ready to take along with a bottle of rose for a Picknick at the beach.

For the big appetite - enormous portions of excellent classic Italian fare, one of the few places I recommend on touristy cours saleya. The other one being Le Safari.

Fine dining

Pricey, yet totally worth the splash. For a special occasion.
Pure deluxe fine haute cuisine that simply tastes sensational. Will impress anyone who you will bring along. Reservations a must, mainly local clientele. Michelin starred, pricey.

Apero / wine bar / cocktails

Excellent selection of wine. Traditional niçois food menu a la grand mère, lots of very vague blurry memories from this one.

The perfect people watching sunset spot on the promenade. Walk in and straight up onto the balcony overlooking the sea and all the action. Mediocre food, but ok cocktails. It’s all about the view.

The perfect apero - pre dinner hole in the wall spot in the old town. LGBTQ friendly, free snacks with drinks. The restaurant next door is owned by the same owner and quite exquisite.
