The tuna tartar followed by the duck Hoisin. Both were excellent and presentation was perfect. Food came fast, service was impeccable and the wine by the glass selection is outstanding. No crappy wines here. Special mention for the hostess: she was pretty, elegant and kept an eye on all tables, ready to step in if waiters needed help. One of the best restaurants in San Miguel de Allende.

Sightseeing

"Sunday night is the night to hang out but every night is good for people watching and the general relaxed feel of San Miguel de Allende. Cool areas to sit and relax under the clipped bouganvillias. Snacks available from the street vendors but its cheaper to buy from the pharmacy in Canal St.

Beautiful and painteresque, it is a most if you go to San Miguel de Allende. Nice interior as well and several restaurants in the vicinity where you can have a coffee or a meal with the church view.

The Canada de la Virgen was a wow factor type of place, the history you see and experience, as you climb the same steps as an ancient civilisation once climbed to do their rituals. The surroundings scenery is amazing. Try to get a guide to have a clear understanding of the hidden treasures.

Shopping

Many shops, galleries, etc. - I could find bargains in town, but if I wanted something unique I found it here. Clothes, art, jewellery and much more. Lovely place to see a variety of things, under one roof. We went in May and it was not crowded at all, but understand that is a fairly hot month.

Wow! What a beautiful boutique. Perhaps the loveliest boutique in San Miguel. But, even better than the setting is the collection of one-of-kind ponchos, wraps, capes, kaftans and jackets. Luxurious fabrics, chic styling. All hand-sewn. And can only be found in boutiques in Mexico. The owners, designers and staff are welcoming and attentive. Extremely chic, the food from their restaurants are also to die for, highly recommended.
