Fun mountain town that has lots of shops and eateries. Its a 'hippy-dippy' area. There are 7 natural spring fountains that are along the street. You can fill a water bottle and it is refreshing.

This mountain is one of only two 14,000 ft rocky mountains that has a paved road to the top. The other is Pike's Peak. The weather does typically close the road to the top from October through end of May due to the large amounts of snow. I hiked to the summit summer 2016.

These bicycles are a really easy way to get around the city. I've taken them starting in the Washington Park area all the way to downtown Denver. If you purchase a 24 hour pass for $9 you can really get to see the area. You would just have to strategically figure out your stops approximately 30 minutes apart. It was so easy because there are so many stations with bikes in and throughout Denver.
