Toronto's most famous food market is just two blocks away from the apartment. Try baked goods from Futures Bakery, the calamari from Busters Sea Cove, and the croissants from Stonemill Bakehouse.

Excellent upscale Indian restaurant - my favourites are the daal makhni, coconut fish curry, and the chicken mint tikka (ask them to make sure it is juicy).

This place is a coffee shop, bakery, Italian food emporium, lunch spot all-in-one. My favourite is the croissant with cheese, tomato, and basil; but they have a number of delicious items that you can take to go.
