Amazing! you'll wonder if you're still in AZ. Do the research on how to best get to this place. Driving down to enter by car is smartest if you are not AVID hikers. It's a long bumpy dirt road (from Camp Verde area), but well worth the trip. If you plan to hike from Strawberry area, take 1 gal water/person minimum, wear hiking shoes, because it's a steep and long ascent coming back up after the falls/river. Many helicopters rescues have been called in for dehydration and improper shoes. Reservations are now required, so book early.
