Alchemia specializes in jazz, although they offer a wide array of music related events. Very popular, to it tends to get crowded on weekends. They've also opened a restaurant right next door.

If the city centre and Kazimierz are too touristy for you, try Podgórze - just across the river from Kazimierz. Makaroniarnia on Brodzińskiego st. offers great Italian cuisine. Just across the street is Punkt Docelowy with artisan beers and an eclectic crowd of punters. Tucked away at the corner of Plac Niepodległości and Jana Zamojskiego is Cafecinema Paradiso - run by one of Kraków's most charming gentlemen, Miguel, it offers Mexican snacks and free movies. It's a tiny place next to a gym, so if you want to find it look for tables outside and people in really, really great shape.
