This is the North Williamsburg Ferry landing. Take the Wall Street bound direction for a beautiful view (and photo opp) of downtown NYC. Get out at DUMBO to see the iconic Brooklyn neighborhood, or at Wall St to visit Battery Park, the Charging Bull, and the 9/11 Memorial. Cannot recommend this hidden gem enough. Deliciously fresh, vegetarian fare & juice bar, tucked away inside a yoga studio and made with love by its charismatic owner, Brownie. Check out her daily menu for amazingly fresh breakfast and lunch options (http://shantishack.tumblr.com/). Loved by both vegetarians and omnivores - all around delicious! Note: this is more of a lunch counter than a sit-down restaurant with table service. Open from 12-4pm, Tuesday through Sunday (closed Mondays).

Local Japanese fare. Gorgeous all-white loft-like space and overall cool vibe. On the pricier end, but worth the splurge if you're looking for an upscale dinner experience.
