Famous for its market, a warren of curiosities. It has a thriving nightlife including live music, comedy clubs, jazz clubs and restaurants selling almost any nationality of food. Regent's Park is nearby and has formal gardens and it's famous zoo. Wonderful walks can be had along the Regent's Canal admiring the colourful canal barges.

It is the home of the Rpyal Opera House and free singing is often heard in the lower area. It was the site for the 1938 film "Pigmalion" and was London's original fruit, vegetable and flower market.
