Food Scene

Very convenient to my house with easy parking. Great casual southern food and a fun brunch. They have a great Bloody Mary Bar & bottomless Mimosas's at Brunch.

This is not only a great spot for coffee, brunch, or dessert but it is home to comedy and spoken word events. They roast their own coffee locally. This restaurant is locally owned. They have a separate theater, restaurant area, and cozy red room - so it is a fun place to hang out.

Great spot for drinks or casual mexican fusion. Vegan friendly. I love the shrimp burrito with goat cheese. Parking is on street but it is very close to the Falls downtown. So if you were doing the west end, might be a good lunch spot.

Parks & Nature

This is one of the best hikes in the Carolinas to Rainbow Falls. It is strenuous 2 mile hike, but well worth it! Be sure to go early as parking fills up.

They have a very nice lake to walk or bike around. It is a little over a mile so perfect to get your daily exercise but still close to downtown. Also you can park at the Student Center, walk around the lake and extend the walk by getting on the Swamp Rabbit trail.
