Out and about

Some places to visit around Podere Sant'Angelo
The Parco Maremma contains one of Tuscany's most beautiful, unspoilt beaches. There's a small car park near the beach, if it's full take the frequent shuttle bus from Alberese. TOP TIP - hire a bike in Alberese, ride through the park to the beach, then back through the aromatic pine woods - a memorable day out.

Try Saturnia's hot springs at here at the waterfall. Visit at any time of the day or night. My favourite time is late afternoon when the sun's not so strong and there are golden tones to the light.
