An awesome beach where you can see the remains of a pre historic forest in low tide. Rock pools abound at Pett Level where the remnants of a prehistoric forest can still be seen today. It resembles wet putty! On a very low tide you can walk all the way around to Fairlight Cove, ( be warned, it's a nudest beach) but you need to check the tides. Winchelsea is also an amazing beach to chill and to spy the resident seal.

Bodiam castle is awesome. It's owned by the National Trust and you can walk around and in the ruins of the castle. There is a good pub opposite called The Castle. The Hub Bodiam is a quirky cafe and shop also within walking distance and serves coffees and light lunches. A favourite of ours.
