I could live here. There's usually a line on Saturday and Sunday mornings but the food is well worth the wait.

Parks & Nature

Nobody seems to know about Jack Block park. There are great city views and a nice long walkway to enjoy. There's also beach access here but the beach isn't as sandy as Alki.

Entertainment & Activities

Don't actually go to the West Seattle Junction Association. However, DO go to the WEST SEATTLE SUMMER FEST (hosted by the association). July 14-16, cost is free, lots of live entertainment and merriment in the streets! Kids activities, music, food trucks, shopping, fun fun fun!

The Snoqualmie corridor is about an hour away from the townhouse. There are countless trails to choose from and something suitable for hikers of every level. Www.wta.org has a great tool you can use to filter trails depending on your preferences. The directions to trail heads on WTA have never failed us. Just be sure to take a screenshot before you lose service! You may need to pay for a day pass to park your car at a trail head. More info on that on WTA as well.

Sightseeing

Alki is Seattle's best beach. There are restaurants, volleyball nets, sand, a boardwalk, fire pits, and free parking in the neighborhoods. If you wanna spend a day doing nothing but lazing around, this is the best place to do it.
