Food Scene

Good old comfort food with a fancy-schmancy twist. I go for breakfast, but if you go on a weekend, get there by 9:00 or expect a wait.

I love this place. It has traditional, excellent food in a cantina feeling environment. Everything I have had there has been great, but for the last year, I've only gotten the Carne Asada when I go.

Best burgers in Seattle. That's just my opinion. But I'm usually right about these things.

For a quick, savory alternative to a sandwich for breakfast or lunch, try this out! It's only open M-F, but the folks are super nice and the piroshki are fantastic.

I like this place for delivery, but plan ahead. It's usually 45-60 minutes before dinner is served, but it's good! You can also stop in for a slice, too. I get the Garlic Chicken with a pesto base.

Everything Else

Ice Cream Shop...say no more. Not that I'm a creature of habit, but this is my favorite way to top off my carne asada from Fogon. It's open late in the summer and there's a line. Salted Caramel.

Because you need a cocktail with an egg in it. Also, the food that comes out of their phone booth of a kitchen is solid.

If you gotta get your dance on (I don't), this place is the place to go. Fair warning, it's a gay bar, so if that heebs you out...well, don't look at the art in my hallway. It's 3 stories of fun.
