Calton Hill is one of Edinburgh's main hills, set right in the city centre. It is unmistakable with its Athenian acropolis monument (unfinished) poking above the skyline. Only a short walk ut the hill and great views.

Bucolic village abutting a tranquil stream, with gardens, 19th-century buildings. Only a short walk (15min) from our flat along the Water of Leith path. Lovely walk and stunning views. If you go further (another 15 min) you will end up in Stockbridge - a nice area full of bars and restaurants. Royal Botanic Gardens are not far from there (another 15 min). Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art is located between our flat and Dean Village.
