Swimming holes are hard to come by in Golden- here’s the inside scoop.
Ok, the water is cold, but the land is flat, the braided rivers are awesome and the views are a+.
We go out the Bush Road (B-Road), as for as 42km, but you can happily stop at the rec site at 2km.
Some people go to 5-7km on the Kinbasket Resot side and it’s also awesome!

Start in Nicholson, take out at the airport in Golden. There are places in town to rent SUPs. It’s a 2-3 hour adventure.

Great xc ski trails, plus the lodge is amazing for meals.
Hey, it’s the best! Ok, it’s pretty rustic, but the vibe is great and the skiing is second to none.
