This is one of the best restaurants in Tennessee. They provide every guest with the most amazing apple fritters. We go every time were in Gatlinburg.

Best Mexican Food. They have a location right as you enter downtown Gatlinburg, but it is always crowded and parking is a bear. Go the one in Pigeon Forge. Same great food will less of a hassle to get into.

Best pizza ever! Cannot go to Tennessee without hitting Big Daddy's Pizza. You have to get the Dough Daddies and homemade meatballs. Yum.

Pick your own berries. This is seasonal and not always open . If you hit it when open, and berries haven't been picked clean, it's awesome. Phone (865) 258-3276 http://www.tennesseemountainmistfarms.com/

The Old Mill Restaurant is always busy and hard to get into. It's a great experience if you hit it at the right time though. There is also a great ice cream and candy shop across the street. A little further down from the candy shop is a real cool cat shop. Everything cat you can think of. It used to have the owners cats walking around while you shopped.

If you like baked beans then the Bush's Baked Bean's Visitor Center is a must see. We found it a nice excursion and very interesting. I believe we did it on a day we went to see the caverns.

Traveler advice

Don't miss

Pigeon River Rafting Adventure

We have used quite a few different rafting companies so I cannot recommend anyone specifically, but this is a family adventure that you should not miss. They have rafting trips for all ages, starting as young as three years old.
