Traveler advice

Getting around

Public transport

You can pay for all your public transport with a contactless bank card. Underground is the fastest way to move around but do take a double decker bus! Sit at the first row on the second floor and enjoy the view! This is a great way to rest in between sightseeing and see London from a different angle. Buses number 15 and 26 have great routes around central London. You can catch them from the station close to apartment.
Traveling with kids

Kids London

Kids under 11 years old can use London Transport for free. Many cafes/restaurant have high chairs/kids menus - just ask the staff. Many great museums in London have free entrance for everyone and they are very interactive and entertaining!
What to pack

Layers

It’s cliche for a reason - but London’s weather can change many times per day:) so having some layers that you can take off and on is great. Also having a light packable raincoat is great as rain won’t interfere your sightseeing. And rain usually finishes quickly :)
